S&M Wedding 2011

What a lovely, lovely day!! The only wedding I've cried at!!

I cried 3 times - at the registry office, during the Groom's speech and lastly when my friends husband (she was Matron of Honour) who has been away with work for several weeks surprised her by turning up out of the blue!

I don't think they could have asked for a better day, the sun even shined!! May they be this blessed for the rest of their marriage xx

365 Project Day 2

Day 2 - the day the cast was taken off.

365 Project Day 1

I've been reading about various people's 365 projects where you take a picture a day and have been meaning to do something like it for a couple of years, I've decided to finally take the plunge! This photo is from the 22nd so I will finish my project on the 21st June 2012 - The longest day.

Day 1 - cos it made me snigger. Sorry about the quality, I took it on my mobile phone.

To Theme or not??

Wahooo, surprise day off :)) OH got his cast off his wrist today, he dislocated it mountain biking at Afan in Wales with his mates a couple of weeks ago and I had to take him to hospital, cue me making the most of the day off, hehe.

I've been thinking about my future plans and one is to be able to give up "normal work" to give me time to do what I enjoy doing rather what I have to do to pay the bills (once the mortgage is gone obviously - fingers crossed in about 5 years).

I quite like the idea of a blog/etsy shop combo and one piece of advice is to theme your blog......well I'm not entirely sure I know how to. I want to talk about what I've been up to - crafting (sewing, knitting and generally trying to make things), thrifting or as I call it Charity shop shopping, my cats, paying off my mortgage, my OH, being frugal, travelling, cooking, gardening and just general things happening in my life. Is that a theme?? Maybe....
