Salisbury Carnival
This was a proper old fashioned street Carnival, haven't been to one for years and it was fantastic!! Big floats and lots of noise and colour :D

Salisbury Cathedral Tour
As we were still on holiday we thought we'd do something touristy so we did the Salisbury Cathedral Tour. What a beautiful place! They also have the Magna Carta there!!
This is the cloister, a place for contemplation.

This font is amazing, it's designed by William Pye!

They used to store the Bishops vestments in this

View of the spire from the cafe - lovely food served here!!

365 Project Day 99-103
Day 99-103 - Really bad me!! No photo's taken :( Think overtime and mystery shopping took over a little, have tried to make sure I do all of these things from now on!!
Hen Weekend ... with a difference
The last weekend in September was a friends Hen Weekend and as she doesn't like the normal, pink, frilly, over-the-top willy fest that they have become we thought we'd do something a little different that she would enjoy :) We opted for a Toy Story/American theme as she is getting married to a Yank who always dresses in cowboy boots and jeans aka Woody :)
The 5 of us went to our friends in Lincoln and we decked her room out in USA banners and Woody blanket, balloon and poster.

Saturday we started off in true American style with pancakes followed by a trip to the Woodside Wildlife and Falconry Park, it was awesome, we got to handle snakes and lizards, had lemurs jumping on us and a display of owls and other animals. They also had rather nice tearooms so we indulged in sandwiches and a rather large slice of coffee and walnut cake :)

That evening we all dressed as cowgirls (I made moustaches attached to cigars)and went out for a meal and lots of drinks. It was a great night/early morning :)
